BEAT Lab receives NIH SBIR Phase I grant (Sen Gupta, co-I) to study blood-biomaterial interactions for polymeric vascular grafts. Aegis Biosciences (David Vachon, PI) is the industry partner.

BEAT Lab (Sen Gupta, PI) receives funding from Case Presidential Research Initiative Award (Ohio Board of Regents) to study the hemostatic activity of liposome-based synthetic platelets!
BEAT Lab receives first funding
BEAT Lab receives the Beginning-Grant-in-Aid funding (Sen Gupta, PI) from American Heart Association to study the design of synthetic platelets by mimicking and integrating natural platelet’s adhesive and aggregatory functions on a liposomal nanoparticle platform!
