Congratulations to Ujjal Sekhon from Haima Therapeutics and Dante Disharoon from our Case Western Reserve University Biomedical Engineering lab, for being selected to present their research at the DARPA FORWARD symposium at The Ohio State University, and being awarded in the Top 5 category for their research on therapeutic and diagnostic technologies to treat trauma-induced coagulopathies in far forward settings!
Excited to report that our lab has received a contract award from US Army PRMRP program to optimize and evaluate a new nanomedicine system for intravenous targeted enzyme-triggered direct delivery of thrombin for hemorrhage control! Potential use will be to manage acute bleeding in trauma, surgery etc.
